Kooks 2" x 3-1/2" stainless long tube headers for serious built SBF combinations. The 2" primary gives peak power room well above 6,000 RPM — for high-output small blocks where smaller primaries become the airflow restriction. The 3-1/2" collector matches the 2" primary, preventing the collector from being the next choke point. 16 gauge 304 stainless construction with 3/8" thick laser-cut flanges holds up under sustained high-output heat.
Fits 1979-1993 Ford Mustang Fox Bodies with a 351 (9.5 deck) SBF running Trick Flow "H/P" Street Heat or Brodix Track 1 (new style) cylinder heads. Uses the 2-3/4" diagonal bolt pattern these heads use — no adapter plates needed. Installation requires a UPR or BMR tubular K-member, Powermaster 9503 starter, and 5.0L / 5.8L motor mounts. Plan the chassis geometry as a system before ordering.
Kooks Headers & Exhaust has been hand-building stainless headers and exhaust systems in Statesville, North Carolina since 1962. Every Kooks header is welded by experienced fabricators in the same shop where the company's racing roots were established. The 304 stainless construction handles thermal cycling and salt exposure that destroys mild steel headers within a season or two.
Gaskets and bolt kit required for installation are included. Pair with a matching Kooks 3-1/2" mid-section and 3-1/2" race tail section to complete the system. Replacement gaskets (PY-8013-AL) sold separately.
