Kooks 1-7/8" x 3" stainless long tube headers built for high-flow aftermarket cylinder heads with a 3" inline bolt pattern at stock port height. The 1-7/8" primary balances strong mid-range torque against healthy top end on a built 302 small block — broader than a 1-3/4" tube would deliver and more streetable than a 2" primary on this displacement. 3/8" thick laser-cut flanges resist warping under repeated heat cycles, a problem that plagues thinner cast or stamped aftermarket headers. Mandrel-bent primaries keep flow consistent through every curve.
Fits 1979-1993 Ford Mustang Fox Bodies with a 302 (8.2 deck) SBF running Dart & World Products 210 & 225, World, or Air Flow Research 205/220/225 cylinder heads. No adapter plates required — the headers bolt directly to the 3" inline pattern these heads use. Installation requires a UPR or BMR tubular K-member, a Powermaster 9503 starter, and standard 5.0L / 5.8L motor mounts. Plan the K-member, motor mounts, and headers together as a system.

Every Kooks header is welded by experienced fabricators in the same shop where the company's racing roots were established. The 16 gauge 304 stainless construction handles thermal cycling and salt-belt corrosion that destroys mild steel headers in a season or two.
Gaskets and the bolt kit required for installation are included with the headers. For replacements, order PY-8013-AL gaskets. Pair with a Kooks 3" SBF X-pipe to complete the mid-section, plus an appropriate cat-back or race tail section downstream.
