Kooks 1-7/8" x 3" stainless long tube headers with included adapter plates. Long tube primaries promote exhaust scavenging that delivers usable mid-range torque and meaningful peak power, gains a shorty header simply can't produce on a built small block Ford. The 16 gauge 304 stainless construction and 3/8" thick laser-cut flanges resist the warping that thinner aftermarket headers suffer under repeated heat cycles. Mandrel-bent primaries preserve a consistent inside diameter through every curve — crush-bent tubing pinches at the apex and gives up real flow.
Fits 1979-1993 Ford Mustang Fox Bodies with a 302 (8.2 deck) SBF. Adapter plates are included so the headers bolt to the 2" inline stock bolt pattern at stock port height, opening up compatibility with Edelbrock Victor Jr., AFR 165 & 185, Trick Flow Twisted Wedge, Ford SVO GT40, Brodix Streetmaster, Ford 5.0, and Dart 170 & 195 heads. Installation requires a UPR or BMR "Standard Series" tubular K-member, a Powermaster 9503 starter, and standard 5.0L / 5.8L motor mounts. Plan the K-member, motor mounts, and headers as a single system — chassis geometry needs all three to work together.

Gaskets and the bolt kit required for installation are included with the headers. For replacements, order PY-8010-B-AL gaskets (for stock heads) or PY-8013-AL gaskets (for aftermarket heads), and SB-B60020 bolt kits. Pair with Kooks SBF X-pipes and a matching mid-section to complete the system.
