Kooks 1-7/8" x 3-1/2" stainless long tube headers with adapter plates. The 3-1/2" collector gives big-cube small block Fords the room a 3" collector would restrict, especially on 351 builds where peak airflow climbs past what a 3" collector can pass cleanly. Long tube geometry promotes exhaust scavenging that adds real power across the mid-range and top end. 16 gauge 304 stainless construction with mandrel-bent primaries keeps flow consistent and corrosion-resistant.
Fits 1979-1993 Ford Mustang Fox Bodies with a 351 (9.5 deck) SBF. Adapter plates included to bolt to the 2" inline "stock" bolt pattern at stock port height, opening up compatibility with Edelbrock Victor Jr., AFR 165 & 185, Trick Flow Twisted Wedge, SVO GT40, Brodix Streetmaster, Ford 5.0, and Dart 170 & 195 heads. Installation requires a UPR or BMR tubular K-member, Powermaster 9503 starter, and 5.0L / 5.8L motor mounts. The K-member, motor mounts, and headers must be planned as a single system.

Every Kooks header is welded by hand by experienced fabricators in the same shop where the company's NASCAR and drag racing legacy was built. The 304 stainless construction stands up to thermal cycling and salt-belt exposure that destroys mild steel headers in a few seasons.
Gaskets and bolt kit required for installation are included. Replacement gaskets (PY-8010-B-AL) and SB-B60020 bolt kits are sold separately. Pair with a matching Kooks 3-1/2" connection pipe or X-pipe to complete the system, with a 3-1/2" race tail section downstream for full performance.
