Kooks 1-3/4" x 3" stainless long tube headers for modified or boosted 4.6L 4V Cobras. The 1-3/4" primary and 3" collector keep the upper RPM range from being the choke point when the engine has been cammed, supercharged, or built up. 16 gauge 304 stainless construction with 3/8" thick laser-cut flanges and oval ports handles sustained high-output heat. Mandrel-bent primaries preserve flow through every curve.
Fits 1996-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra with the 4.6L 4V engine. Requires a Kooks X-pipe with a 3" inlet to complete the exhaust connection. Does NOT include EGR fitting or SMOG connections for 1996-1998 cars — this is the off-emissions configuration. May require Flaming River or another aftermarket steering shaft for clearance with the larger primaries.

Every Kooks header is welded by experienced fabricators in the same shop where the company's racing legacy was built. 304 stainless construction shrugs off thermal cycling and corrosion that destroys mild steel headers in a few seasons.
All hardware required for installation is included. Pair with a Kooks 3" X-pipe (PN 11203160) and a 3" cat-back or race tail section downstream. Replacement gaskets sold separately.
