The three-piece power train skid set is one of the most important armor upgrades you can make, protecting the drivetrain from damage when off road. The set includes a Front Skid, Transmission Skid, and Transfer Case Skid.
The front skid takes the brunt of rock hits, bottom-out impacts, and general off-road abuse, so we built it to hold up under that kind of trail use. Features a reinforced oil filter access door with replaceable threaded inserts and countersunk bolts.
The Transfer Case skid is a one-piece design for a straightforward install. Incorporates a cross member to help protect the transfer case and is spaced to clear the exhaust, avoiding the rattle some other skids cause.
The transmission skid is a flat skid that bridges the gap between the front and transfer case skids and protects the transmission.
All three are .185" steel. A 1/4" aluminum front skid is optional.
Available in raw steel or with powder coating. There is no warranty on powder coating on skids given how they're used - this includes shipping scratches. If finish is a concern, order raw and paint them on arrival.
Skids are made to order and subject to lead times.
