The next step in the evolution of our popular Ruggedized Crossbars: the new Ruggedized Extrusion Crossbar line gives you the same functionality and strength as the classic crossbars, in the popular aluminum extrusion format.
The Ruggedized Extrusion Crossbars have rust-resistant stainless steel ends finished in black powder coat and aluminum extrusion bodies also finished in black powder coat — light, rust-resistant, and ready for the trail. Hardware is stainless M6 bolts with a black oxide finish.
The Ruggedized Extrusion Crossbars also work with our current 3/4 and 7/8 side rail kits and complete racks by bolting the extrusion body to the bottom 90° lip of the crossbar ends. They're backwards-compatible with our Legacy Ruggedized Crossbars, so you can mix and match.
The crossbar ends make roof top tent installs easier on factory side rail setups — you can install the extrusion body to the tent separately from the crossbar ends. Mount the crossbar ends on your factory side rails, then drop the tent assembly with extrusion attached onto the ends. The 90° bends on the ends support the extrusion while you bolt them down.
All hardware included. Tools required: 4mm and 5mm hex keys.
Fits 2010-2024 4Runners with factory side rails or our upgraded side rail options. NOT compatible with 2010-2013 Trails or 2019+ TRD Pros with the basket racks.
The optional bolt-on wind fairing helps reduce wind noise.
