Kooks 2-1/2" stainless H-pipe — the bolt-in race mid-section that gives a deeper, more traditional muscle-car exhaust note than an X-pipe. H-pipes don't cross-bank exhaust pulses as aggressively as X-pipes, preserving the heavier Mustang growl rather than the higher-pitched X-pipe rasp. Competition only — no cats; off-road / track use only. Ball-and-socket header connection accommodates thermal expansion.
Fits 2005-2010 Ford Mustang GT (4.6L 3V). Requires Kooks long tubes with 2-1/2" collectors. The 2-1/2" outlet connects to the OEM exhaust at the factory connection point (OEM clamps not included).

Every mid-section is welded by experienced fabricators in the same shop where the company's racing roots were established. 16 gauge 304 stainless construction handles thermal cycling and salt-belt corrosion.
H-pipe clamps are included for the header connection. Pair with Kooks 3V long tubes (PN 11312000 or 11312010) upstream and the OEM cat-back or a Kooks 2-1/2" cat-back (PN 11304150) downstream.
