Replacement coilover spring made from SAE9254 spring steel with a zinc undercoat beneath the powder coat to keep rust from reaching the metal. Springs are available in lengths from 120 mm to 300 mm and in rates from 2 kg/mm up to 22 kg/mm depending on the length selected. Three profiles are offered — linear, S-barrel, and V-barrel — each suited to a different OEM suspension geometry and kit design. The standard 62 mm I.D. linear spring fits most applications. The S-barrel uses the same 62 mm I.D. on both ends but bows out in the middle to deliver a longer effective stroke in a shorter overall length, which is the preferred design for independent rear suspensions where coil-bind noise is a concern. The numbers printed on the spring read as: inner diameter (mm) – static length (mm) – spring rate (kgf/mm).
