The lower mount is the bracket that bolts the coilover to the wheel hub. Where the OEM design allows, lower mounts are fabricated from STKM13C steel with robotically welded brackets, then sand-blasted and powder coated for rust protection. For applications where the factory suspension uses a fork or eye-bolt arrangement, the lower mount is instead CNC-machined from a single billet of 6061-T6 aluminum, dimensioned from reverse-engineering data and verified against OEM specs before being black powder coated. Replacement lower mounts are a clean drop-in fix for damaged or worn units — the old mount simply threads off and the new one threads on. Unless the listing specifies left or right, the mount is not side-specific.
